The top picture was taken at the intersection of highway 53 and 2 in Wisconsin. The background is Ice Cover on Lake Superior. The bottom photo is from Enger Park overlooking the Duluth Harbor. On May 20, an East wind blew ice into the lower end of Lake Superior, blocking the shipping lane.
